Mili and Abhi’s Hindu wedding in Santorini's cliff side was about Indian traditions and joy! For instance, the groom arrived at the ceremony with the impressive procession called baraat. The traditional, Hindu music was loud enough, and the drummers were keeping the rhythm. Then, the bride walked to the ceremony in a stunning Indian wedding saree. Her beautiful henna designs, also know as bridal mehndi, covered her hands and feet! She was gorgeous!
Their Hindu Wedding close to the holy fire
The Indian ceremony took place in EROS villa's outdoor area by the pool. There were impressive flowers, white details and fabrics, as well as traditional, indian elements. In fact, the ceremony performed under a beautifully decorated mandap with Santorini's breathtaking views of the sea and volcano in the background. The couple and their families stayed close to the holy fire, which is regarded as a purifier of life. Next, the Hindu priest guided the families to make offerings into the fire.
Their Wedding Reception with Indian food
The wedding reception, beautifully captured by Thanos Aisfis, also took place by the villa's pool, with stunning chandeliers in line hanging above the tables. In agreement with the couple's preferences, the guests enjoyed their traditional Hindu food during the sunset. Later on, the couple's cake cutting and the stunning sky fireworks left everyone speechless. Of course, the final part of this wedding was a pure celebration, as the guests experienced an amazing outdoor party on the cliff side!
